There are a variety of meeting rooms available on campus to suit your needs. Though our catering staff will be happy to assist you in determining which room is appropriate for your function, all room use requests and payments must be handled by the Panola College Business Office.
Murphy-Payne Community Room
A versatile multi-function room, conveniently located in the M.P. Baker Library, can make your next event an enjoyable experience whether it's for a social event or a business meeting. It can be used as one spacious area for meetings or social events, or split into two smaller rooms. A grand piano is available for musical events, along with a board-style table for formal discussions or training sessions. Both sides are also equipped with hidden projection screens.
The Ballroom is perfect for large receptions, ceremonies, and banquets. located in the Charles C Mathews Student Center, it is also ideal for workshops and training meetings.
The Texas Room is a more intimate setting, excellent for formal dinners, informal socializing and smaller meetings. It can also be used in conjunction with the Ballroom to provide a setting for coffee, desserts, or hors d'ouevres. For small served dinners or informal buffets, the Texas Room provides a quiet, peaceful setting for your group.
Sid B. Turner Memorial Chapel
The newly remodeled campus chapel has a large deck, and is near the beautiful Spirit of Panola fountain. This would make a beautiful setting for a small special event, especially if the rose bushes are in bloom.
