In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans. If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact the Panola College Business office at (903) 693-2000.
19 Meal Plan
This plan allows for All-You-Care-To-Eat dining in Café Panola and it has the added flexibility of combo meal exchanges at Charlie's Bistro.
An exciting new addition to available meal plans, Pony Bucks are a declining balance system; you can add to your balance at any time during the semester in increments of $50, then use them like cash to purchase meals, snacks, or drinks. They are valid at Café Panola and Charlie's Bistro. To get a little flexibility in getting meals or snacks, you may add Pony Bucks to your existing meal plan; simply drop by the Café office between mealtimes to find out how. Some grants may also allow you to transfer funds to purchase Pony Bucks along with your books and supplies – just ask at the Financial Aid office.
If you're not a resident, you can purchase Pony Bucks too! Just ask at the Business Office and have your ID with you.

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:
- Please place backpacks & large bags in the designated holding area near the reception desk in the Café. This helps us prevent trips & falls. If you need to study while you eat, you are welcome to bring your study materials in and leave your bag at the holding area.
- Please bus your dishes and disposables from your table when you have finished dining. Please remember to use courteous language in public areas.
- Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area. You may use your approved refillable mugs in the dining area.
- Remember that resident meal plans are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser. If you’d like to treat a friend or family member to a meal or snack, you can purchase meals using cash or Pony Bucks.
Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected. Here is how it works: Your student ID has your meal plan and Pony Bucks loaded onto it. You’ll sign in at the reception desk in the Café, or use your ID like a debit card at Charlie's Bistro to spend Pony Bucks.
Lost or Stolen Meal Cards
Should this happen to you, contact the Student Success Center (x 2034) and they can transfer your meal plan and remaining Pony Bucks to a new ID when the old ID is deactivated.
You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our Campus Dining Program. Our generous policy allows for a second helping of many menu favorites. All you have to do is ask! Please note, however, that there are some exceptions to our Seconds Policy including premium dinners like the “Reward Yourself” series or special events that require reservations.
Do you have particular dietary needs? Please let us know! Our Campus Dining Services Program can accommodate your special dietary requirements. For more information, please contact Maria Gomez. Maria can be reached via telephone at extension 2015, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by coming into the office in the Café.
